BUT, I&#8217;m also trying to lose weight. I was training for a 200km bike ride for charity (in the mountains, no less) and I was always tired. I THOUGHT I ate enough fruits and veggies, but maybe not enough variation.<\/p>\n<p>So &#8211; I gave in. With all the hype about these green monsters&#8230;I thought, well, if everyone is doing it&#8230;then maybe I should too&#8230;<br \/>\nSo I did. And by the end of the week I felt better, my stomach was acting a lot better, and I had more energy. I&#8217;m not sure HOW its possible&#8230;but, its the truth!<\/p>\n<p>Here is what I make every morning:<\/p>\n<p>1 cup of almond milk (other milk of choice could be used)<br \/>\n1\/2 cup of frozen strawberries<br \/>\n1\/2 frozen banana<br \/>\n2-3 cups of organic, baby spinach<\/p>\n<p>And whizzz away! Occassionally I have to add a few splashes of water. And the first few weeks I had to remember this trick &#8211; DON&#8217;T LOOK DOWN!
