{"id":847,"date":"2010-09-03T10:44:23","date_gmt":"2010-09-03T16:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greenmonstermovement.com\/?p=847"},"modified":"2010-09-03T10:44:23","modified_gmt":"2010-09-03T16:44:23","slug":"mjs-green-monster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greenmonstermovement.com\/?p=847","title":{"rendered":"MJ&#8217;s Green Monster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve always loved smoothies and Spinach and when I heard about the Green Monster smoothies is on the Weight Watchers site (I&#8217;m currently trying to lose 100+ pounds) I thought that this might be a filling and nutritious addition to my daily routine.<\/p>\n<p>Here are my 2 favorite recipes:<\/p>\n<p>1 frozen banana<br \/>\n5-6 frozen or fresh strawberries<br \/>\n2 handfuls or cups of fresh Spinach<br \/>\n1 Tbs ground Flax seeds<br \/>\n1 Tbs wheat germ<br \/>\n3 sprigs Fresh Mint<br \/>\n1 scoop Soy Protein Powder<br \/>\n1 cup skim milk<\/p>\n<p>I loved the taste, could taste the banana and strawberries with a hint of the fresh mint.<\/p>\n<p>2 handfuls or cups fresh Spinach<br \/>\n2 scoops Soy Protein Powder<br \/>\nlarge handful frozen mixed berries (blackberries, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries)<br \/>\ncouple of dashes of Pure Peppermint Extract<br \/>\n1 Tbs wheat germ<br \/>\n1 cup skim milk<br \/>\n1 packet Stevia<\/p>\n<p>This was a last minute decision tonight to make a Green Monster, was out of bananas, had no fresh mint and forgot the Flax.
