Maria‘s Green Monster:
I’ve been drinking something similar to Angela’s beloved green monster for some time – under the alter-ego of “sweet green soup”. The whole lot gets dumped into a big white bowl and eaten as a chilled summery soup.
My usual:
1 frozen banana
1c unsweetened almond milk
6 handfuls organic baby spinach
either 1/4 avocado or 1 heaping glob of raw almond butter
When I have fresh pineapple, I freeze this and add it in. Sometimes I sub out the spinach for dinosaur kale. Often I’ll mix in chia seeds (for a more pudding-like soup) or garnish with raw coconut or berries.
