Jocelyn’s Green Monster:
Green monsters are taking over the world! It all started with Angela’s blog about ways to increase your intake of vegetables and who would have ever thought that they would taste so good as a shake?! I sure didn’t. I was a bit skeptical. It took me a few weeks before I was convinced to try and make my own. The drinks Angela made were always green and swamp like. How could these possible taste good? I imagined myself having to hold my nose while I drank the green monster and just having to gulp it down but boy was I wrong! These drinks taste amazing! (and are good for you also!) The great thing about green monsters is that you can make it your own. I love bananas and strawberries so I made my first one like this:
1 med banana
4 strawberries
1 cup of vanilla almond milk
3 ice cubes
2 handfuls of spinach
1 Tsbp of Maca powder
Sooo good! I can’t emphasise it enough. It was like (shall I compare?!) drinking a milk shake but I knew it was healthy for me! Go Green monsters. I’m now addicted and can’t wait to switch up the ingredients and explore the endless possibilities! : )
