Kim’s Green Monster:
Ingredients:
2ish cups spinach
5-6 frozen strawberries
1 banana
1ish cup frozen peaches
1 tbsp almond butter
8 oz almond milk (unsweetened, organic)
Optional – 1 scoop protein powder (prefer berry)
I fell into green monsters when looking for a healthy, quick, and filling breakfast. I already loved smoothies, we actually pitched in and bought one for work. So when I saw the whole spinach in a smoothie thing on almost every blog I was reading at the time, I knew I had to try it out. I was terrified of the spinach taste, so I thew in some extra fruit to mask it. Ended up LOVING on this smoothie hardcore. I even shared with some coworkers (who thought I was insane for putting spinach in the blender to start with). This is my go to, quick, healthy breakfast and I’m SO glad I decided to go for it because researching more about it because it introduced me to Oh She Glows 🙂
