Allison’s Green Monster:
Hi everyone! I’ve been making green monsters for a few months now. My usual/standard recipe is a big handful of baby spinach, 2-3 scoops of yogurt, blueberry-pomegranate juice, cranberry juice (I don’t really measure–probably a shot or two–2-4 ounces–of each?), and a banana. But the other day I had this delicious pineapple sitting on my counter, so I tried something new.
This one’s got:
baby spinach (large handful)
pineapple chunks (again, a handful)
large banana
And here I realized, you know, those berry juices probably aren’t quite right for this mix. So instead I added:
1 spoonful vanilla yogurt
orange juice (a good bit, again, I didn’t measure)
And, oh wow, it was delicious! Smooth and yummy, I wanted to put a little umbrella in it and drink it at the pool or on the beach!
