Katherine’s Green Monster:
I’m not a huge banana fan. But recognizing that bananas play an important part in smoothie texture, I’ve included 1/3 of a banana, and the rest of the fruit is seasonal. Also included frozen berries instead of icecubes.
Frozen Berry Swamp Monster
1 Tbsp ground flax
2 cups organic spinach (can be steamed ahead of time)
1/3 banana
3/4 cup various fresh berries (I used blueberries and pitted cherries here)
1/2 cup frozen berries (raspberries here)
1 cup almond milk
Lovin the swamp monster. I only started them a week ago and I seriously crave them. I feel so good drinking them. Thanks for starting this up!
