Cali’s Green Monster:
Lately I’ve been adding spinach to everything – it’s my new favourite food. I started adding it to smoothies after seeing the Green Monsters all around the blogworld. I’ve even made “spinach water,” which is 3 cups of spinach blended with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup skim milk, and cooked my oats with it. They were very green! I can’t believe you can’t really taste the spinach – it’s genius!
My Green Monster is made with:
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup skim milk
1 scoop chocolate whey isolate protein
1/2 cup blueberries
1/3 frozen banana
4 cups of spinach
