Having my own food/health blog has opened my eyes to so many new things, including Green Monsters. Of course I was a little wary at first – it’s a green smoothie after all – but now I understand what the rave is all about. Thanks to Angela and so many others for inspiring me to put nutrition at the top of the list for every meal.
This Green Monster is great as a post-workout meal and will stick to your ribs:
1 frozen banana
1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 T ground flax
1 cup fresh spinach
