I have always enjoyed smoothies..they were generally only fruit based. I have recently discovered green monsters and have gotten hooked for life! They have boosted my iron levels, which were always low (enemia is no fun), my energies are also up..they are addictive! I love all the wonderful combinations of greens and fruits.
My most recent recipe, which is oh so yummy is this:
3 handfuls of spinach
5 strawberries
handful of grapes
one banana
ground flaxseeds
dash of Dulse
one kiwi
2 apples
water
I’ve just started adding the dulse..
