Hey Angela!  Here is the recipe:

1 packet Amazing Meal Chocolate Infusion
1 cup unsweetened almond breeze
1 TBSP. of flax meal
1 tsp. of Barney Butter
1/3 of a frozen, LARGE banana
Handful of blueberries and spinach
Handful of ice

This was my first time making a green monster and I am totally obsessed now! It tasted like a peanut butter cup chocolate milk shake! I even had my mom try it – I put it in a portable coffee mug so she wouldn’t see the color. My mom thinks I am a total weirdo for eating/drinking all of these health foods, but she loved it as well! She wanted me to make one for herself! Thanks for all of your inspiration, I look forward to reading your blog each and every day. I have struggled with some disordered eating in the past, and I was having a really bad day food-wise the other day. Of course I was moping around the house, upset about the choices I made earlier in the day. I went onto your blog and read your post about calorie counting and all of the negative, depressing thoughts I had going on in my head just disappeared. I had been trying to tally up everything that I had just eaten, but after reading your post, I was like “who cares!” I know what a healthy portion looks like, I know what my body needs. If I have one bad day its not the end of the world.

Thanks for this awesome giveaway!

Hi Angela,

Allie’s Green Colada Monster

1/2 cup pineapple
1/8 cup lite coconut milk
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 dollop of Greek yogurt
1/2 banana
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
3 cups spinach
water (if needed, to make it move!)
ice

My day is not the same without a green monster in my system!  I crave the nutrient rush that I get from them that sends me on my way every morning.  I love the classic GMs but sometimes when I’m in the mood for a Caribbean drink this definitely hits the spot. I love how versatile they are–pre-workout snack, post-workout snack, breakfast, afternoon pick me-up, dessert, you name it!  I tell everyone I know about these guys…and although they give me quirky looks, they later admit they love ’em (after they taste how amazing they are!). Thanks, Angela!

Hi Angela!

I discovered your blog after reading about Green Monsters on several other blogs, and I wanted to find the source.  Can I just say that I love your blog also, BTW! I read it every day!

So I started making Green Monsters about a month ago, probably 5 times a week, as my “first” breakfast, around 7 AM at work.  I am happy to say that I have experienced all the great effects, shiny hair, strong nails, glowing skin, and more energy!  I have also cut back my caffeine intake to 1 cup of coffee in the morning (I used to drink 2-3 throughout the day).  I kinda need that one cup though, since I have to be at work at 6:30 every morning!

Anyways, I love the Green Monsters and I have even got my husband drinking them!  Every morning, I make enough for TWO GMs, one for me and one for him.  He LOVES them! yay!

Here’s my new favorite combo, just made it this morning:
3 handfuls fresh baby spinach
12 oz. light soymilk
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/4 cup frozen mango
1 banana
1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
1 drizzle vanilla extract
4-6 ice cubes

It is so creamy and tropical and luscious!  No sweetener needed 🙂

Hi Angela!

I wanted to submit a picture of my favorite Green Monster!  My recipe
is really basic, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to win this Amazing
Grass package!  I have experimented with adding blueberries,
raspberries, and strawberries, but this mixture is my favorite so far:

– 2 huge handfuls spinach
– 1 scoop milled flax
– 1 banana (the more ripe, the better!)
– 1 cup vanilla soymilk
– 1 big scoop of peanut butter
– 4 ice cubes

So refreshing!!  Thank you introducing me to Green Monsters!  I am now
obsessed and must have one every day.  I don’t think my husband really
“gets” it yet, but I’m working on it!

Thanks!
Niki
