3 large handfuls spinach
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 rings fresh pineapple
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 scoop Amazing Grass: Superfood, Meal or WheatGrass
Chia Seeds
1 Packet Magnelevures Magnesium – lemony tartness!
1 packet David Kirsch Vitamin Mineral Powder “throw away vitamin jar”!

Holly’s Green Monster:
Green Margarita Monster
2 cups baby spinach
1 cup soy milk
1/2 cup blueberries
1 tsp flax seeds
1 tsp wheat germ
1 tsp coconut oil
1 squeeze of a lime wedge
This actually was my very first Green Monster and I have to say I am amazed at how delicious this was!!! Not at all what I was expecting! I thought this one was perfect as I was sitting poolside enjoying the beautiful summer day! I can’t wait until tomorrow to make a new Green Monster!

Hi Angela! Here is my green monster recipe! I know it may not technically “count” as a green monster, but I made it one day when I didn’t have any fresh greens on hand and still wanted a smoothie pick-me-up. And it is GREAT right now with all the fresh watermelon at the market!
Watermelon Green Monster
3-4 cups cut watermelon
3/4 cup water
1 scoop Amazing Grass Green Superfood in Berry
1 tablespoon Flax
5-6 ice cubes
Blender together and go! Makes one large, very slushy Green Monster

Keri’s Green Monster:
My favorite green monster is not exactly a smoothie, but I’m sure it could be made more similar to one… It’s called
Dirty Green Monster Oats (Serves two):
2/3 C Old-Fashioned Oats
2/3 C Water
2/3 C Unsweetened Vanilla Soymilk
1 Ripe Banana
As much spinach as you want… I used about 4-5 unpacked cups baby spinach
**Combine water, soymilk (or any _milk you prefer), banana, and spinach in a blender. Blend until smooth and liquid. Pour oats and liquid into pot and cook on the stovetop like regular oats, stirring regularly until all liquid is cooked in. Put in bowl (or container if saving for later). When ready to serve (hot or cold– I liked mine cold out of the refrigerator), sprinkly on about a half serving (or however much you desire) of protein powder (chocolate OR vanilla). Then, dig in the “dirt”, find the green goo, and consume! Yumm!
It was an awesome way to cook the spinach a little bit to release some of it’s nutrients, as you’ve said steaming does. I just love how green it gets!

Cate’s Green Monster:
I’ve been drinking Green Monsters for the past 2 months. I miss them when I don’t drink them at least once every other day. Although my 2-year old is reluctant to drink them, my 4-year old (secret word: Green Monster = The Hulk) and 1-year old almost beg me for some when they see me making one. I also prepare one for my mom so that when she comes home later in the day, she’ll have one too. Her favorite is spinach, milk and banana, but she’ll drink whatever combo I’ve made that day, which is rarely the same. Here’s what I put in my Green Monster today:
2 handfuls baby spinach, organic
1-1/2 bananas, frozen
6 strawberries, frozen
2 yogurt tubes, peach and blueberry (I’m fresh out of yogurt)
2 – 3 C milk, 2% lactose-free
If too thick, add more milk to thin out. This makes 3-servings.

Cali’s Green Monster:
Lately I’ve been adding spinach to everything – it’s my new favourite food. I started adding it to smoothies after seeing the Green Monsters all around the blogworld. I’ve even made “spinach water,” which is 3 cups of spinach blended with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup skim milk, and cooked my oats with it. They were very green! I can’t believe you can’t really taste the spinach – it’s genius!
My Green Monster is made with:
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup skim milk
1 scoop chocolate whey isolate protein
1/2 cup blueberries
1/3 frozen banana
4 cups of spinach
Enjoyed on my balcony! :o)

Hi Angela! Here is my concoction for your site.
Mango-Nana Monster
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 T flax
2 cups raw spinach
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen mango
handful of ice (omit if using frozen banana)
Blend until smooth. I love adding spinach to my morning meal, because no matter what I have the rest of the day, I know I started out with fruits and vegetables! I usually pair my Green Monster with a slice of whole wheat toast with almond butter, because I feel like I get hungry too soon with an all-liquid breakfast. My boyfriend looks at me like I’m crazy, but of course the bright green smoothie tastes nothing short of amazing!

Hello!
I’ve been enjoying green monsters a few times a week for a very long time now. When I first started adding spinach with my fruit and yogurt my family members thought I was crazy!! I’d tell them you can’t even taste it and one by one had them take a sip. All of them agreed that it tasted normal and now nobody rolls their eyes at me when I whip out the blender!!
My smoothie today was pretty simple because I was in a hurry but it was still tasted delicious and got me energized!
1 large banana, frozen
1 cup plain yogurt
3 big handfuls spinach
1-2 T PB2
Ice
So creamy and peanut buttery!
